PROGRAM:
The "vestigial" triangular lot at the corner of Acklen Avenue and Love Circle Drive in the Hillsboro West End neighborhood is a lot that has been handed over to the City of Nashville in order to build a home through the Nashville Innovative Housing Initiative program. The IHI seeks an architect who will embrace the site's inherent challenges and project requirements as an opportunity to create a small, highly sustainable and site responsive home.Students will develop thoughtful proposals for a new house on 3438 Love Circle in response to the project's unique site conditions along with the specific needs of the Williams family. Additionally, project proposals should include the development of the easement adjoining this site and 3212 Acklen as a community garden or park amenity.
REQUIREMENTS:
Main Suite (Bedroom, Bathroom, Closet, Storage)
2 Bedrooms (One bedroom shall have an adjoining full bathroom
