*One week Design Competition
PROGRAM:
As Belmont's fastest growing college, the O'More College of Architecture and Design continues to expand its facilities along with its burgeoning student body and academic programs. O'More is mostly housed in Hitch Hall, a former Chemistry building on campus. Currently, there is no visible marker or signage for O'More at the Hitch entry, representing a unique design opportunity. In this design competition, architecture and interior design students in advanced studios will have an opportunity to envision a new intervention at the main entry to Hitch Hall. Proposals should mark the entrance to O'More as the front door to the college, establishing the presence acknowledging the vibrancy of the design community housed within.

Design cannot impede in any way with the exhaust grating on the east face of Hitch
